It's half term for our kids next week, and I have decided to use it to reintroduce a system that we have used before to encourage the kids to do their chores, without me having to be constantly nagging them.

Like many kids, ours adore anything sweet and would happily eat chocolate and sweets all day if they were allowed. However, it is becoming increasingly apparent how damaging large quantities of refined sugar is for our kids, as well as it having little nutritional benefit, and governments both here in the UK, and worldwide are working hard to increase awareness of the dangers of too much sugar in our diet.
