This charming story written by Helen Dudding and Illustrated Lizzie Walkley introduces us to the 'whirlwind' that is Airy Fairy, and finds her helping Joe retrace his steps, in order to find a precious friend. With prepositions highlighted in bold, and it's wonderful, detailed illustrations, this beautifully written, and funny book is perfect for sharing at bedtime.

A delightful addition to the book is it's dedication to Helen's parents, on the occasion of their Golden Wedding Anniversary. When Helen first wrote this story, eight years ago, to share with her own children, her parents always encouraged her to have it published. This year, Helen decided to do just that, to honour them, and to thank them for all the support and love they have given her over the years.

    It’s one of my greatest pleasures in life when my young grandchildren climb onto my knee for stories.They love me to read to them and the older ones with them.This looks like a wonderful tale which is also beautifully illustrated and it would be a very welcome addition to ou books x

    I have three little girls who LOVE books, so I would love to win a copy to share with them. I love the idea that the fairy helps Joe find his friend. I think that it’s always good to teach children to help others, and about the power of friendship.
